We're going to be slowly migrating to the new website for the guild, this is a great move and is much more organized. This should make things a ton easier.

Guest Book/General Updating

For those that haven't noticed we have a guest book. I had noticed we had visitors that weren't guild so this is more for them than anything to leave a little something for everyone else to see. If you didn't know it, you can also comment on posts here. I know because in the very beginning when the blog was made and the guild created we had some comments.

The blog is a hub of information for guild members, those thinking of coming to the dark side, and allies to keep up with us. We try very hard to keep it updated and the photo album updated as soon as anything is sent in or taken.

New pictures have been added to the photo album. A group photo won't be added since it had a banned member in it. Generally we'll post pictures that have past members in them, but not banned members. Banned members that have had pictures posted get them removed because Dignitas' name doesn't want to be associated with them.

Viokitty and DemonicSlave have been booted from faction and that's the least I can do to them for their actions last night. I finally crash and sleep and it's like my faction goes wild, well at least the ones that know my wrath were good. I have proof of the hacking and dual logging. That is a big pwi no-no and I won't tolerate it in my guild. I've booted people for less and this is a huge kick in the ass.

I am surprised by demon, my little demon, but the proof said it all to me. MedAlert has gained her Marshal slot, lucky I have a way with my begging that works! Many veteran members know my wrath is bad and you don't mess with my Marshals...don't believe me you don't see AnnaArcher around do you -.-

Spring Cleaning

Spring is here in the US and time for cleaning out the old goods to make room for the new has come. It's commonly known as Spring Cleaning. Also this time a year everyone has yard sales and makes a little money for themselves. Dignitas is just like a home to many of us in the faction.

Starting today, 4/12/2010, inactive members and unhelpful members have been cleaned from the faction to make room for fresh new faces that are indeed helpful and active. Also starting today donations of items from members that have laying about and not being used will be taken up and sold in our shop for a 'Dignitas Yard Sale'. The guild bank and storage built up a large amount of unused materials and goods since we no longer allow lower levels in. Lower materials, dragon quest goods, and so on haven't been requested and just built up and will be sold to bring in funds for the faction.

Donations can be sent to DignitasShop if you can't find Defila or the shop online. You can also send your donations to Defila or Gerpher, but please subject your mail 'donation' or 'donation for faction' or something along those lines.

And the Winner Is.......

The polar bear mount raffle is over and the bear has found a home! After a re-drawing the winner became Unlifed. We have several entries, but over our entire mighty guild Unlifed got him! We don’t have pictures for this winning, yet, but when Unlifed gets to the level to ride the mount he’ll submit some pictures!

The original winner was given 2 days to appear, but after a week of not showing and then 2 days given on top of that the names were drawn again. The inactive member was also booted for inactivates, because inactive just take up space and are not welcome.

Laws may be added at any time and guild will be notified through the blog postings, if you don’t read the blog and break a rule it is no one’s fault but yours.
Rule 1 means you take care of your own guild members before another, if you do not help your guild members you will be shunned.

Rule 2 arguments are not allowed, if you cannot settled them you will duel them out, both parties hand over 100,000c and duel. Winner gets the winnings. This may be done in front of leader and director only so it’s fair. If one party is lower level than the other they may choose a willing guild member to duel in their place, but if the stand in wins half of the winnings go to the stand in.

Rule 3 player killer mode is only allowed for the strong. You represent Dignitas every time you log on and in player killer mode is a sign you’re strong enough to “kill” another strong player. If anyone with the title of marshal or up catches a low level in player killer mode you will be forced to hand over a fee of 500,000c. A fee is set in place because a low level is a prime target for stronger higher levels. You can lose everything you have in pk mode.

Rule 4 Spies, liars, and thieves are not tolerated. Once caught the most sever of punishments occur. If a stolen object isn’t returned you will be booted and smeared. This is the same for spies and liars, this is highly not tolerated. Dignitas is an open, fun, helpful, and strong guild that doesn’t tolerate things like this, these are weaknesses. We are only as strong as our weakest link.

Easter Egg Hunt Winners!

Easter brought us candy, hyper children, and winners of the Dignitas Guild's first event. It had a small number to participate, but I had noticed many had confused the hunt with the polar bear mount raffle. This is why reading the blog is very important and you can't always depend on me, Defila, to remind you of everything. I reminded of the time and did a short run down of the event ahead of time.



Defila's location was hinted at until 5 clues in total occured and she was found.

Defila was located in a tree next to the Lost City Recluse. The tree is next to the Creeping Stream in Broken Bridge Village.

I have to say this was fun, watching guild members run by or fly around me, and still not finding me. Lol.

Easter Egg Hunt Details

Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow, all participating should be on in the afternoon time at 5pm central time. The event begins that day.

What to expect…Defila, me, is the egg you need to find in the Perfect World game.

I will give a hint in faction chat as to where I’m at and the first to find me gets the best stuff, second the next best, and third some money. Since I have no idea who’s going to be participating I plan on giving 1k to all that participate.

Rules:

You cannot try and squad with me to locate me. No I won’t be telling you where I am. No I won’t be in a big city. I will give hints out until someone wins the top three prizes.

It's overdue a big guild even happens, but here it is waiting is over! The first even is a raffle! The winner of the raffle gets an awesome polar bear mount. The mount is the first given out and hopefully encourages more participation in the next contests and events to come.

How do I enter the Polar Bear Mount Raffle?
Simply send 5000 coins to DignitasShop mail, subject Raffle Entry, and 'raffle tickets' will be picked randomly by names written on paper and put in hat. Name pulled is winner.

This contest is limited to guild members only and to only those entered. I, Defila, will not be entering to eliminate suspicion if I'd won. Start sending in entries April 1st. Contest ends April 8th. Gives you a week to get ya entry in!

Spring Cleaning

Time is up and inactives and those that were lazy and didn’t get their level up in time have been booted. Only 2 level 14 that were added after the recruiting cap had happened have remained. I’ve noticed they tried hard to get to level 15 and for this effort they’re spared until they get to that level 15, shouldn’t take long since they’re level 14 now.

A week was given to members under 15 and I was surprised to see many just didn’t seem to care. We’re a level 2 guild now and we don’t have room for inactives to take slots where actives could be. This guild needs to be kept fresh and clean of those not truly wanting to be there.

NOW ONLY RECRUITING LEVEL 15 PLAYERS AND HIGHER

Members have also been banned this week for disrespecting a marshal in world chat. This is a bannable offence and won’t be taken lightly. Joking is fine in faction chat, but to place something of this nature in world makes us as a whole look bad and disrespectful to Dignitas’ superior officers.

Dignitas is a fun, very active, guild that prides itself on getting along with each other and making the new recruits feel welcome. We settle or issues and we help each other. Fighting has led to booting, disrespect has lead to booting, but this isn’t something unique. Many faction leaders I know have also said these are things that they have booted people over before.


This doesn’t mean I’m humorless or mean means simply I won’t take b.s.

Friday 26th 2010

This Friday is important for all those below level 15. New rules and upgrades have caused a severe laziness on booting for 'lowbies'. No longer will anyone under 15 be allowed into Dignitas and if you're already in Dignitas and still haven't gotten to 15 your ass has officially been placed above the fire. No more low levels in this guild except for the guild shop DignitasShop, this is a mule name and one that's not a fighter.

DignitasShop is an important part of the guild, money for guild is earn here and items stored, but nothing else. So don't give excuses such as 'but that users is a lowbie'. It won't fly.

Friday is deadline. Saturday the bootings begin!

No recruiting will be done until Saturday. Saturday is our guild refreshing day!

What Everyone Should Know


We take donations to help raise funds for the guild. The guild reached level two purely on donations and funds given, it cost 2mil in coins in the game! Donations can be given many ways. You can give to the name DignitasShop by trade, mailing, or giving to Rabies, Defila, or Rkane and they will see it gets to the guild shop, DignitasShop. Donations are nice, but you don’t have to do them they aren’t mandatory. We earn money by setting up shop mostly at night/morning and through putting up on auction block. Again, DignitasShop is the most important name in the guild even though it has no power because it stores all the materials that are given out free to members of Dignitas and the name also stores prizes for events the guild holds!

Guild Events

We brainstorm for what we can do together that would build bonding and friendship between the members which in turn products loyalty. We do runs together almost daily, we’ve also started taking group photographs, small groups, but one day we will get an entire guild picture.

You can submit images of your character to the slideshow by emailing mlesher38@gmail.com and within the next day or two the picture should be on the slideshow.

We finally raised enough money to upgrade the guild to level 2! Requirements post has been updated, now only recruiting 15 and up leveled PW players.

Bootable Offense

Recently there's been a huge rise in fighting amongst the guild members. This rise has cost us to lose a few members and that just can't happen so to fix this in the future if arguing continues and can't be resolved members, no matter rank or level, will be booted to preserve the fun active environment this guild was founded on.


Members leave guilds over fighting and that just can't be any long.

:Update:

I have booted members in the past for fighting, being rude, and just being mean. A one dragonschild/satinschild and his gf auradose were kicked because abuse of power and being rude to new members. Auradose didn't do anything, but her connection to dragonschild gave us a weak link in the guild. I don't like spies!

As a member you probably noticed a little 1 level new member, it’s not really a character, but a shop name. I’ve created a name to use as a mole and store items for contests and raise money through the shop to upgrade the guild. You can donate to the shop by mailing, in game, the item or money to DignitasShop. A donation is appreciated, but you don’t have to!
This is a group effort already! Dakotasmomma and I camped for several hours catching the wonderful snow hares just to sell in shop. Leaving the shop open all night the guild got over a 100k from donated, caught, and found items! With the guild growing fast every day it’s important that the 2mil mark be gotten to upgrade guild.
This name will also serve as a place to keep common items for guild members’ use. Can’t seem to get those darn dull claws? Have no fear Dignitas is here!!!!! (well soon anyways) Dragon quest commons, shop upgrade commons, and anything you can spare would be nice to donate.
Can’t afford the fee for mailing? No problem DignitasShop will become active so that a simply trade can be done to save the coin!

Slideshow & Music

The slide show feature is up and working. It'll display images of faction members at their best. I posted a picture of Defila to start things off. If you're a guild member and want your pride and joy displayed for visitors to see then email your picture to me at mlesher38@gmail and I'll get it up soon as possible.

I'm wanting to add a huge guild picture to the slideshow, if you're interested in being part of it let me know through the game by mailing Defila, if you're in the guild and aren't interested in being a participant that's fine too!

Want a promotions? Tired of being without power? Promotions will now be giving to those that shine and not by relationship.

If you fit all the requirements, made in in the guild, and now want to work up the ladder you should find ways to stand out in the ever growing guild. You can shine by helping newcomers, helping in raids of bosses, and going that bit extra.

We won't be offended if you just wanna be apart of the guild as commissioner too, which is the lowest rank. Next is Executor, Marshall, Director, and then Leader. Only 1 person can be assigned to Director and of course only 1 for Leader.

Requirements

This guild has a few requirements:

1)Be a Perfect World user on Raging Tides server

2)Must be level 15 or higher

3)Speak English well enough for everyone to understand

Requirement 1 is a must to even play the game, 2 because it proves you're actually going to play the game and because many guilds don't allow lower than level 20 into their guilds, but because we work with a player helping them level and with other things it's not an issues so much, and 3 is a must so that everyone can understand each other. Many guilds are language specific like Russian speakers and French.

Dignitas was established on the Raging Tides server of the Perfect World online game. It was established with the want to build one of the biggest guilds on that server and eventually give the ‘big wigs’ something to respect. We’re a new guild, but we’re growing everyday with helpful active members. Members that show they’re very helpful will gain promotion!
This is the first post of the new blog and of the new guild, but many more will come that’ll break down requirements, updates, and misc. This blog has two admin writers, ‘Writer’ is known as Defila in the Perfect World game and the other is guild member dragonschild in the game.
